The film traces the journey of punk rock from underground to overground charting the pivotal events along the way including Malcom Mclaren's Kings Road Shop to the Westway roots of the Clash, the Buzzcocks at the 100 Club, climaxing with the Grundy show moment when punk became synonymous with a four letter salute and a green haired pantomime of pop. The film rounds up with an examination of the legacies of punk rock where it led us to and what it changed.
