Agatha Raisin Series 3 was completed in 2019 and consists of four new 90 minute episodes (eight 45 minutes) based on the novels "The Haunted House", "The Deadly Dance", "The Love From Hell" and "As The Pig Turns" by M.C. Beaton. Originally airing on the Acorn TV platform in the US, series 3 premiered in the UK on Sky One before streaming on the newly launched Acorn TV UK service.

Carsely is bursting with excitement over the launch of Agatha’s new detective agency. However, when the agency fails to attract any clients Agatha is left devastated. Unable to bear seeing Agatha so heartbroken, James suggests they investigate the haunting of Ivy Hall, a mystery that has baffled locals and treasure hunters alike for centuries, as the perfect way to drum up business.
Business has been booming ever since Agatha solved the mystery surrounding the haunting of Ivy Hall. However, she’s left in a foul mood when she discovers the newspaper article about her recent exploits has been sabotaged by Inspector Wilkes who claims she’s nothing more than an amateur who got lucky. Determined to prove him wrong, Agatha sets out in search of a juicy case that’ll set the record straight once and for all.
When James vanishes after a blazing row with Agatha leaving behind only a trail of blood and a dead body, everyone is left fearing the worst. It’s up to Agatha to find out what really happened and bring James home safely.
After a turbulent few weeks Agatha is determined to move on with her life and put the past firmly behind her. However, her plans are quickly derailed when a gruesome discovery leaves all of Carsely fearing for their safety.
